Nordsee in Kiel

Today at home I studied the menu and found a crab baguette, drove to Kiel in the parking garage for 1.50 and went to the North Sea ..... no crabs there ..... there is supposedly no more for a year .... ..the spiders .... eaten freshly caught in Husum last week ......

They made an effort. The food was ... you can eat it. Tasty is different.

A North Sea branch with the typical range. Bought a very recommendable dark salmon baguette this time. Delicious !

It is rich, a bit expensive and to use the bathroom you have to cross at the mall, you have to leave coins to the people who keep it clean. A menu 9 euros but the drink is expensive and when I wanted to wash my hands they gave me wet wipes.

Hardly any dishes ready to serve at lunchtime, so long waiting times, staff could be more sociable. The food is ok.

Have been here many times. Food is everywhere in the North Sea, sometimes very fat. But you know that. Here in the Sophienhof you sit right in front of the other buyers. You have no rest, but always something to see.

Only ate a roll with fillet. Unfortunately it was far too greasy. After the nice feedback from the North Sea team, I have to give this right that I could and should have pointed this out on site ... ... is not a standard ... ... will continue to stop at the North Sea ....

I was skeptical to eat at the lake right by a chain like the North Sea, but in Kiel it's not so easy to find a good and down to earth seafood restaurant. Hard to believe, but that's a gap in the market. In any case, the fish was seared fresh and good at the North Sea. Only the breading / shell would have tolerated a little less salt.

The shrimp salad doesn't taste particularly good here. You can eat the salad, you just expect more for the price.
